Cable Color Codes (TIA-606)
Standard color conventions for structured cabling.
TIA-606-B defines a color standard for structured cabling so technicians can identify the function of a cable run at a glance: blue for horizontal workstation drops, orange for the demarcation point, white and gray for backbone levels, purple for common equipment, and red for critical circuits.
Documenting cable colors alongside labels - as the Cable Label template does - makes troubleshooting a cable plant dramatically faster.
